Stanton Out For The Season- It's Time To Retire!

Giancarlo Stanton strained his other right calf during a rehab practice running the bases and I think it's time to let the ole dog go live on the farm.

Stanton has been out since April, only playing in 24 games this season and it feels like this guy cannot stay healthy. The slugger has 456 career homeruns and we would all love to see him hit 500 but I think his playing days are over.

He has not played a full season since 2018 and after 17 years in the MLB I don’t think the Yankees can afford nor do they want to deal with anymore injuries. The Yankees are trying to compete for a World Series and all Stanton does is get hurt and strike out. Sorry not sorry.
